The LS3578 is a cordless scanner from Motorola. This type of scanner simply scans barcodes and passes the decoded information to a PC – it doesn’t run any software of its own.

The Motorola LS3578 features the following:

• Cordless, designed for applications that require a wider working area.
• Data transfered as keyboard input to a PC, the LS2208 scans barcodes to text fields like it’s typing them in for you (with the exception of the serial communication option).
• Available for USB, keyboard wedge, and serial communication formats.
