Motorola LS2208

The LS2208 is a tethered scanner from Motorola. This type of scanner simply scans barcodes and passes the decoded information to a PC – it doesn’t run any software of its own.

The Motorola LS2208 features the following:

• Low cost, simple barcode scanning solution.
• Corded, designed for short range use.
• Data transfered as keyboard input to a PC, the LS2208 scans barcodes to text fields like it’s typing them in for you (with the exception of the serial communication option).
• Available for USB, keyboard wedge, and serial communication formats.
• Available with a stand that can be used to point the scan beam at a fixed location for hands free scanning.
